Using a preacher bench, take hold of the EZ curl bar with a shoulder width grip and palms up. Support your arm and elbow against the pad and keep tension throughout the lift. Curl the bar upwards until the forearm touches the bicep, contract hard, then lower to the starting position. Complete for the desired number of repetitions. Preacher curls can be done with a straight bar but will put a great deal of strain on the wrists.
